Inspired by His words in John 4, we believe in the life-giving power of God’s Spirit—like a fountain springing up into everlasting life—and we are committed to sharing that hope with everyone, especially the destitute, the hopeless, and the spiritually hungry. We are a multi-ethnic congregation united in worship, fellowship, and purpose. Our mission is to transform lives and shape destinies through the practical demonstration of God’s love. TENETS OF FAITH—WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that…
- The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)
- God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19)
- Man was created good and upright in God’s image, but fell by voluntary transgression and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 3:17; Romans 5:12-21)
- Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and that the saved become heirs of God according to the hope of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).
- The ordinance of baptism should be observed by all who have been saved, declaring to the world their death and resurrection with Christ, as well as their newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4)
- The infilling of the Holy Spirit for life and service and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31). This experience may be distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the New Birth (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9)
- Each believer is an integral part of the church, the holy Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfilment of her great commission.
- (I Thessalonians 2:4) The resurrection of the dead in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the Lord, is imminent and is the blessed hope of the church (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Romans 6:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52).
- The devil and his angels, and whosoever is not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20; 20:10-15), and believers will be in a new heaven and a new earth wherein righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1).

Rev. Mark is a founder of UPPER ROOM NON-INTERDENOMINATIONAL PRAYER FELLOWSHIP and also served as an associate Pastor under CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH Feltham branch in UK FOR 7 YEARS under the leadership of Rev. Daniel K. Danso
As mandated by God, Rev. Mark’s vision to start the upper room was filled by a deep desire to raise every believer’s prayer life so that they will be able to pray through daily issues of life. His vision is to see a new generation of prayer warriors that transcends the barriers of denominations and who are ready to pray until something happens to influence the society around them.
He is a firm believer; by adhering to the covenant of God, every individual can fulfill their purpose and destiny in God, thereby living a fruitful life. This dynamic inspirational speaker has spoken at several conferences in churches, including in the UK, Ghana, and across Africa. He also serves as a panelist discussing issues about the kingdom of God via various radio stations in Ghana and Europe.
He functions as an apostle and prophetic voice to the body of Christ, an evangelist to the nations, and a lively preacher with unique teaching ability who continues to make a powerful impact in the Christian arena. Under His leadership, UPPER ROOM has seen growth, with branches of this ministry being started in different parts of the UK and in Ghana.
This prayer movement is countless testimonies of what God is able to do when people meet to pray. His prophetic ministry is tested with countless results of people who have been personally healed from all manners of sickness. He is sensitive to the spirit of God, and he is careful to give glory to God.
He is a much sought-after international conference speaker who has taken God’s word to thousands of people across the nations. REV MARK’s preaching and teachings focus on empowering believers spiritually, developing them educationally, exposing them culturally, and strengthening them economically.
He is a dynamic preacher who has been described by many as one of the leading end-time pastors that God is using to bring a real change to their generations. He is the husband of one wife, MRS. CHERYL EMMA BOATENG, and they are blessed with two beautiful girls and one handsome boy, and they are together raising a godly family.
The fellowship has a capacity to grow; however, the growth is not sustained because it has not been covenanted under a unified body as a church hitherto. The process of evangelizing many souls has been so wearing that they need a church to build up their faith, so this has preempted the idea of starting an Assemblies of God (AOG) church in this west part of London, and now the LORD has led him, and he is the visionary of SPRING OF LIFE [SOL] ASSEMBLIES OF GOD UK.
